3,2,1, Fruit suits takeoff
Fruit Suits originated from its founder, Blake, who conceived the idea while traveling in Vietnam. He spotted matching banana shirts, shorts, and hats that sparked a spontaneous connection among fellow travelers, inspiring him to bring the concept back to Canada. After being put on hold for a few years, Blake, along with his friend Phil, revived the idea, aiming to offer fun attire suitable for special occasions like bachelor parties or casual summer days.
However, in 2021, Blake faced a severe car accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury. Transitioning from a life of adventures to rehabilitation, Blake remained determined to promote positivity and happiness. With immense support from family and friends, he not only overcame the challenges of relearning basic skills but also redirected his focus towards deciding which fruit to feature next.
Despite the setbacks, the company continued its forward momentum, now striving to positively impact lives. A portion of all sales is dedicated to brain injury research and support. This commitment stems from Blake's personal experience and a belief that life is too short not to find joy and cherish moments with loved ones.
